Geomorphic Solutions is dedicated to the protection, maintenance and enhancement of fluvial and coastal systems. In support of this goal, we advocate a science-based, interdisciplinary approach to resolve geomorphic and environmental issues related to rivers and coasts. A rigorous scientific approach provides a framework to formulate effective solutions, which satisfy all stakeholders, thereby reducing reliance on the less effective, and time-consuming proponent / opponent approach.

Geomorphic Solutions has the tools to provide inventories, baseline data and sensitivity analyses for both fluvial and coastal systems. Our team has the experience and capabilities to take channel rehabilitation and realignment projects from desktop concepts to functional channels, by providing innovative design solutions based on the current state-of-the-science. In addition, we can assist with the development of effective, site-appropriate stormwater management plans. Our capabilities include channel sensitivity analysis and erosion assessments in support of effective stormwater solutions that limit impacts to natural watercourses. Post-development effectiveness monitoring can also be provided.
